One-pass cutting and collection
GT5 cuts, vacuums and collects in a single mowing pass. Its rotary cutting system gathers grass clippings, fallen leaves and light debris as it moves across large turf areas, reducing the need for separate collection and follow-up cleanup.

Automatic emptying and task resumption
When its hopper is full, GT5 autonomously travels to empty it. It then returns to the exact point where mowing stopped and continues the task, reducing the need for an operator to handle each collection cycle.

Extended runtime for large grounds
PUDU rates GT5 for 8–10 hours of operation and up to 65,000 m² (16 acres) per full charge. Its 26 kWh battery supports extended mowing routes across large properties, with standard or optional fast charging between work sessions.

60-inch wide-area mowing
The 60-inch (1.52 m) rotary cutting deck covers a broad strip with each pass. A target mowing rate of 8,000 m² (2 acres) per hour helps maintain extensive lawns with fewer passes across the site.

Autonomous travel between turf zones
GT5 follows pre-mapped internal routes between separate pitches and turf zones. It travels to the next work area without manual handling and automatically resumes mowing on arrival, allowing multiple fields to be covered in one workflow.

Automatic mapping and rapid deployment
GT5 explores the grounds autonomously to create an operating map. Online or satellite imagery can be used to define the target area with a digital boundary, reducing manual perimeter mapping when preparing a new mowing site.

Precision tracking and edge trimming
High-precision positioning helps GT5 maintain a stable mowing path. It can cut within 5 cm of an edge, reducing the strip of uncut grass left along the perimeter and helping deliver a consistent finish across the field.

360° surroundings awareness
Surround-view RGB cameras, RGB-D sensing and LiDAR combine to maintain spatial awareness around the mower. This multi-sensor view supports autonomous operation in open grounds where people, vehicles and other objects may be present.

Adaptive obstacle avoidance
GT5 detects pedestrians, vehicles and objects such as hoses or light poles. Depending on the detected risk, it can slow down, steer around an obstacle or stop, helping manage its movement through shared outdoor spaces.
Active anti-fall protection
GT5 detects hazardous drop-offs near shorelines, steps and steep embankments. Together with digital no-go zones, this detection supports rerouting or braking to reduce the risk of travelling beyond the intended mowing area.

All-metal chassis and IP66 protection
An all-metal chassis is designed to withstand demanding daily commercial work. PUDU specifies an IP66 protection rating to protect internal components from rain and moisture during outdoor grounds maintenance.
